This thing kills all my USB devices on my computer. If it is unplugged your devices still won't work & it will not sync until you restart your computer. Forums have suggested getting a powered usb hub to solve the issues, however in my case it has no effect. So if I want to use my USB Headset, Bluetooth Controller, USB Wireless Adapter, Webcam, etc, I am completely SOL! My advise is STAY AWAY from this product and if you want to use a 360 controller in windows... GET A WIRED ONE!

Excelent product. The installation CD is not updated for Vista but you are readily prompted and directed to download the correct installation file. Once you download and install this file it works flawlessly on Vista. Connecting the wireless Xbox 360 controller is very easy and intuitive. The only problem is that there is no "natural" way to voluntarily turn off the controllers... Even when the OS is off the controllers remain on. The controller will eventually turn itself off after a few minutes, though. You can always turn it off by removing the batteries, but maybe it's not a safe procedure...

Installing and using it was very easy; acquiring it not so much... Even though this product in particular is NOT available in my country (Brazil), I couldn't have it sent to my address, apparently because Microsoft restricts international transactions with countries that already have Microsoft proxys. It had to be sent to a friend that was in the U.S. on vacation and then she brought it to Brazil. It would be really nice if this great device was made available by Microsoft in Brazil.

Awesome, works perfectly. It couldn't have been any easier to install in my Dell Inspiron 530s running XP Media Center 2005(which outputs to my 60" HDTV). Just load the drivers, plug it in, sync the controllers...viola, the computer recognizes a new controller.

The syncing works the same way as on the 360 itself. You press the sync button on the device, wait for it to blink, then do the same on the controller.

I use it exclusively for emulators and it works flawlessly. Of course, you have to map the buttons in the emulator software, which is annoying, but you'd have to do that with any controller.

This thing is awesome, I plugged it in, sync'd the controller, and seconds later I was playing Far Cry 2 (all the buttons already set up). The xbox controller reacts just as good as it does with the 360 - movement with analog sticks was great too.

This is just what I needed. I have the 360 controllers and I wanted to use them on my computer games. There is a windows 360 controller, but it costs a lot more than this device. My force feedback wheel also works with this. You need to unplug your XBOX 360 first before you try to connect your controller to this device. and then push both reset buttons the one on the controller and the one on the device. Thank You

I hate using a keyboard for games like FPSs that wasd always hurts my wrist after a while, but now I can play all my favorite games like Far Cry 2 and Left 4 Dead with the ease I could on my 360.

The wireless receiver doses the job that it advertise when it comes to games with the windows logo. but it would be nice if it also aloud you to program it to work with other games as well like other controllers on the market. Other than that it works great there is no lag and game play is comparable to playing on a console.

If you have a PC game that states that it is compatible with the 360 console controller (i.e. Fallout 3, Dead Space) and you already have a wireless 360 controller, it is very worth considering this adapter. it worked without fuss in 32bit Windows XP, and worked exactly as it should.

Mine worked for about two days. Now the light wont even turn on. No configuration changes, it just died.

Seriously, save your self the money and the time you will inevitably waste on this.

Works fine with black wireless xbox 360 controller on Vista 32-bit. Driver CD failed to install. Used drivers from microsoft's website.
