The item that was pictured and described which I thought that I was buying was not what was sent to me, at least not in it's entirety. To complete my purchase I was asked to pick between a black or gray casing cover for my hard drive and I picked gray, however when the item arrived all I had was an internal (naked) hard drive with no external case to attach it to the XBOX 360 system. The paperwork that was sent went on to tell me that I purchased only the internal hard drive and if I needed the external case I could acquire one from the seller for an additional $17.00. I haven't been so upset with an online purchase since I had my credit card information stolen from an insecure site. On top of this whole thing... the hard drive itself, now that it's all put together, doesn't even work the way it should because there seem to be issues with the 120GB unit. Not my happiest purchase, or a great Bday gift for my son either.

MICROSOFT XBOX 360 60GB HARD DRIVE

Ordering this item from Amazon and their vendor World Sales was one of the worst experiences of my life. On 12/18/08 when I placed the order, I paid a huge price so that the item would get to me by Christmas. I also talked to the vendor via email and they sent me an email stating the item would be delivered before Christmas or the item would be free. The item did not make it until 12/27/08. I have been fighting with Amazon and the vendor to get my money back as was guarnateed. The only response I have gotten is two emails from the vendor, one stating "we made that promise because we were sure you would get it on time" and another one saying they will refund me 20% of the shipping costs. Amazon's response was "you received the item so you have no claim and you should return it if you want your money back". I even emailed the vendor's promise to Amazon and they again said I should send it back. I had nothing to give my son for Christmas and when the item did come, I had to drive 130 miles to give it to him so if I sent it back, I'd have to drive another 130 miles, all because the vendor screwed up. I can't believe Amazon is not supporting me on this horrible situation. I've spread the news about what happened to me and will probably never use Amazon again. Amazon does not support it's customers and uses vendors that take advantage of buyers.
