I'm pretty sure it clearly says "Additional 8 (feet) of cable for game controller" right under the picture of the product. Please don't give a product a poor rating just because you didn't read carefully enough.



Anyway, MadCatz makes excellent 3rd-party addons. This is the second extension cable I've bought from them and they work perfectly, hence the 5-star rating. Including the cable-winding puck is a nice addition. Maybe I'll actually use it, rather than leaving the cable under the coffee table forever... heh.

I have read the other reviews for this xbox cable and most of them act like this is a rip off, and you should just buy a 50foot "cross-over" cable. THIS CABLE IS MADE FOR LINKING TWO XBOX'S TOGETHER! NOT FOR ANY OTHER USES! And using a "50 foot crossed over cable" doesn't work anyways. I bought one myself tried using it and no, it didn't work. That is because it was not specifically designed for the xbox. This cable however is made for xboxes, and will connect 2 xbox systems together so you can play certain games with up to 8 players on two different TV's, but still be fighting each other. But the ultimate recommendation would be to just get x-box live, that way there's no complaining about a system link that will only do what the package says it does(link 2 xbox systems together) and you can play more than 8 people whenever you want.

PS-i'm not a kid, i just didn't want to sign up with amazon.

If you don't like Microsoft or you think you can find a better deal on a different brand, look for "Cross-over" ethernet cables! "Patch" ethernet cables are the more common type, but they do not work for the Xbox.

This cable is used ONLY for a hookup between 2 xboxes. This means that if you want to play Halo 4 vs 4 with 2 tvs, a regular ethernet cable will not work. Only the Xbox System Link cable will work between two xboxes directly connected. However, if you hook up four xboxes, you have to use regular RJ-45 ethernet cable with a hub. That is why this cable is necessary.

I received this game as a Christmas gift as there isn't much golfing in Upstate NY in the winter. The product does a good job of enforcing good fundamentals, but takes a bit to get used to. The sensor is embedded in the control unit and is sensitive to ANY movement above or near it, which can result in added strokes. I would have hoped the graphics to be better as they were about Nintendo (Original, 1983) quality. The unit does not come with an AC adapter but has the receptacle for an aftermarket one, which I purchased at a local electrical store for an extra $15.

With our busy lives, my husband does not get a chance to hit the green much anymore. I surprised him with this for Christmas, and it was a hit. He connected it to our TV and golfed for about 30 minutes. I think he was very surprised that it wasn't a "cheasy" game. He TV golfs everyday now for about 20-45 minutes after work. Works for both of us :)

Hey This product is now available in the united states. It was originally made in england. that is where I got mine. It is awesome and it works fairly well. I recomend staying still before you take a shot. It helps if you dont stand so close to the base. The base acts like a sonar and will detect a straight hit, a slice or a hook. You can change the club size only in the software. It is a little silly to put with a wedge but hey its a toy! Was a great holiday gift and everyone wanted to play including grandma. I hope they make more of these. cheaper than Wii!

An awesome game, no doubt about it, but it gets even better when you play through the campaign with Spanish dialogue. The Chief, or "Heffe," growls like an ultra-macho Antonio Bandaras, and Cortana's latin voice actor puts WAY more emotion into her lines than her english counterpart. So if you want Halo 3 to play out like a Telemundo Telenovela, pick this up.

Also, all of the menus and the multi-player experience are in english. If you're primarily looking to play some matchmaking, this is a great deal. The foreign language editions (also available in french) are usually half the price of the english edition.
