ADVANCED HIGH SPEED DIGITAL 15 meters 50 Reviews

Customer Buzz
I doubt this being a CAT 2 certified cable: comes in a plastic bag with the only markings being MADE IN CHINA and hand written "50 ft". No mention of any of the advertised specs, which certainly would be on the packaging. I was leary of even running the cable, so I stretched it out and tested it beside a 30 ft CAT 2 cable through a 4x2 matrix switcher. No matter what the configuration or cable connections, the drop out (in the form of intermittent color streaks) moved with the cable. The connector was not snug, and that may be the problem as it did not even make contact with one of the switch ports. Not something I want to trouble shoot for an "in wall" installation. I am going with two shorter cables and an HDMI repeater/amp in between.
Thanks for reading my review.

Ts-h943 Dvd-rom Drive for Xbox 360

Product Description

Replace your xBox 360's OEM drive with a Samsung Toshiba MS25 ts-h943. This Toshiba-Samsung ts-h943 DVD drive for the XBOX 360 system is a replacement drive, NOT a modified PC drive. If your Xbox 360 has problem loading disks or giving you error messages, it probably comes from a defective lens. Relative to the same infamous problem from the Original XBOX. Model: ts-h943 Part Number: X800473-016 or X800473-019

Customer Buzz
For those of you who are wondering how to replace your 360 dvd drive its very easy. I had a samsung and I bought this and switched it out, and it works fine. You just have to make sure to switch out the the circuit boards inside the drives, from your old drive to your new drive. It has a 'key' on it that identifies with you xbox. Other than that your good to go. This is a great buy. Oh yeah, and you don't need to flash your drive to get it to work just switch the boards...doesn't matter if its a firmware version 25 or 28 it will work.

Customer Buzz
I am not going to go into detail because you can search for the information yourself. The reason it didn't work for one of the previous reviewers is that you have to extract the key from your previous xbox drive and flash that onto your new drive (aka spoofing). You also need to flash your drive to be able to read xbox 360 games. Please google for more information, don't just insult the product because you didn't know how to use it.

Customer Buzz
i bought this, put it in my xbox 360 and it doesnt read my disks. It says "to play this disk put it in an xbox 360" i dont know if im doing something wrong or what but i am really pissed off. it reads dvds and not games and my friends are tell me that it is because it was made just for dvds and not for games. so if anyone knows what to do help. please

Customer Buzz
This item can be a bit skippy at times when reading large data but haven't had one break yet.

these was the best headset I have ever had, until today when one speaker just stopped. they only have a 1 year warranty so there is nothing I can do. there is no obvious disconnected wires, everything looks to be in perfect shape and yet one side does not work.

very disappointed, I knew it only had a 1 year warranty most do, but i expected them to last a lot longer for over 100$. not sure what to do about a replacement now...

Customer Buzz
I am an avid gamer and am constantly being yelled at over my loud game volume so i decided to buy these. And im glad i did i can now listen as loud as i want and not disturb anyone. Also they give me a huge advantage because i can hear where people are before they even see me. Only complaint is that the microphone wire broke on me after about 3 months and i took extremely good care of it after all it is 100 dollars. But tech support was very helpful and sent a replacement free of charge. Not bad for not having a warranty or guarantee now thats what i call service.

Customer Buzz
Awesome, no problems at all. Nice to finally be able to use the surround sound and optical out. This really helps when I play halo, picking up vehicular noise from different directions is a snap. Would definitly buy this agani.

Customer Buzz
Pros:
The headphones are really good for gaming. You can hear things from all around you and tell where footsteps are coming from. So, if you're just looking to play games with them they're awesome. Another plus is that I don't think you could buy a better mic. It's perfectly clear.
Con:
For sound quality though, music sounds a little like it's being played in a tin can. It lacks a good bass.

Overall I'm happy with the purchase, they serve the purpose I got them for and were a fairly cheap solution.

Customer Buzz
The head set had great sound but after two weeks the wire which attaches to the headset broke from movement. It is way to thin a wire. I returned them and may get the more expensive unit after seeing the wires

Customer Buzz
Don't pay attention to all those people, who say it crackles when no sound is playing. Who cares..nothing is playing yet. You can hear everything in Gears of War 2. Even watching movies is amazing now! Do not pass these up, great for anyone looking for a cheap way of getting 5.1 SS.

Customer Buzz
Yes, it really is amazing the level of sound quality of these headphones. The level of realism that makes it a target player in the game and have fun like going to the scene.

Customer Buzz
Was not happy with this product. Thought it would be able to be connected to the XBOX 360 with no problems it did not work! Would not recommend it for this purpose!

Customer Buzz
This is my second one. My kids ripped the cord out of the first and I stepped on it, breaking the mic off. I use this for gaming and I can tell exactly where the sounds are coming from. Being able to adjust the center channel separate from the front and rear is key for hearing other gamer voices over ambient noise from the other channels (or not hearing them).

Customer Buzz
Got these for myself instead of grabbing one of the Turtle Beach headsets because of the 5.1 functionality and I had heard interference was a problem with wireless headsets.

Sound: Sound quality is fairly decent. At first you certainly notice that it's not quite as good as regular speakers, stuff sounds a bit "hollow" in comparison, like you're listening to stuff in a gigantic metal container, but you quickly get used to it and forget the difference. Every once in awhile you'll hear a couple strange beeps and boops that resemble the inside of a spaceship, but they're infrequent and only noticeable when the sound is quiet. There's three different adjustments for volume, front, center, and rear, and a fourth for vibration. The vibration is basically there to help simulate bass, and it feels great at higher settings, though hardly noticeable at lower ones.

Build: The headphones are definitely solid and not fragile. The top bar is padded, which is nice. The bar is easily adjustable for size but it locks well so it won't loosen and adjust on its own either. They're a tad heavy which can put some pressure on the ears after a few hours but nothing painful. The detachable mic is kind of dinky small but not easily breakable. Minor gripe is that in order to use the mic, there's a detachable cord that plugs into the mic that works as a bit of an extender. That can be convenient so you don't have to take the mic on and off all the time but it also could be easy to lose. The cord for the headset is just long enough to reach from my 360 to my couch, so it's not much of a problem for me that it's not wireless. Those that sit far away from their 360 could run into trouble, although I imagine most people won't have a problem with the cord length.

IMPORTANT NOTE - TO USE THIS HEADSET ON YOUR XBOX 360 - YOU NEED THESE:
1.) A high-definition television that accepts HDMI.
2.) An XBOX 360 that includes an HDMI port.
3.) An XBOX 360 Audio Adapter
4.) Any HDMI cable

If you don't have ALL four of these, this headset will be worthless to you. Some older model 360's do not have HDMI ports, so check that first. The XB360 Audio Adapter comes free with any XBOX360 Elite, but you can also buy it bundled with an official Microsoft HDMI cable for around $50. This audio adapter is required because the headset uses an optical audio cable for sound and this adapter is the only way you can get optical audio on your 360. This adapter also plugs into the standard cable hookup slot for the 360, which means that you have to use an HDMI cable for your video on your 360. If you didn't understand a word I just said, don't buy this headset because otherwise you're going to be totally confused when it arrives.

Customer Buzz
OK So ill make this short, if you play halo 3 and gears of war 2 online, this is the best router to get. Good price too. I can go online on my computer and play xbox live with a perfect connection now. THANKS D LINK!!

Customer Buzz
Not so great, support not that great. Contivity VPN didn't work until I reconfigured the router. After that, the error rate and dropped packets were astronomical. Support had nothing for me to troubleshoot, except a new way to scratch my head. Wireless coverage in my two story house was average, and my rather robust wired home network (10 PC, 2 Mac, network printer, VOIP phone, Tivo) just clunked along.

I personally checked all wired connections for continuity, and even installed gigabit D-Link switches. This thing did NOT do a very solid job of routing data.

After two years, the thing finally died. I reinstalled my old D-Link 2.4 wireless router, and the network is as happy as it ever was.

BTW, this is old technology. Don't buy it, even with the rebate. The last firmware update is also a couple of years old.

Customer Buzz
This is a great router w/ a gigabit switch and many advanced features such as WPA2 and RADIUS server support, protocol prioritization and more.

Customer Buzz
Let me start by saying this review is probably somewhat biased. I had an existing 802.11g wireless router that I had to reboot every 2-3 days because the DHCP service would apparently hang (clients couldn't get an IP until the unit was reset). This got old very quickly. This D-Link absolutely ROCKS. I've had it running for about a month now with nothing but perfect function! I was specifically looking for a wireless router that had gigabit ports - I don't care too much about wireless bandwidth (don't need "n"). Anyway, I've got at least "good" signal throughout my entire house - no less than 36Mb/s. My old "g" router would sometimes be as low as 2Mb/s or lose signal altogether. The D-Link doesn't run hot, gigabit is GREAT, wireless is GREAT. All-in-all a perfect "10"!

Customer Buzz
Okay, networking is complicated, im 14 and am a nerd. I run servers and things like that in my spare time. This was easy to set up. I dont even read the manuals, i just look up the gateway ip address and use the manual configuration. I never call technical support. If there is something wrong, figure it out, you always learn a lot, unless the hardware is bad or faulty. If you do need help, read about encryption, WPA only. Use MAC address filtering, you may or may not find a use for the extra features of this router. But the gamefuel works great.

Customer Buzz
I first bought this router because of it's price. I had imagined that it would operate like any other router which includes a reconfiguration every now and then. I've had this router for two months now and it has a good strong signal in my 1600 square foot home. Even when I move my laptop to the other side of the house and my connection is down to two bars, the connection speeds stays fast.

As far as gaming; this is the router to have. The router configures the proper ports to open on its on when a game is started. It also works for downloading programs like Utorrent. Once the ports are not needed anymore, the router closes the ports.

For advanced users, this router is for you also. The web interface is fast and friendly but powerful. Once all the configurations are made, you will be able to save your configuration to your computer just in case you router loses its configuration.

Customer Buzz
I purchased a DGL-4300 router for Xbox Live and to connect my 4 computers. For Xbox Live compatibility, it had to be downgraded from 1.7 to 1.6. Downgrading and configuration of the router was no problem for me. Xbox Live worked well, my hardwired desktop worked fine, and 2 of my 3 wireless laptops worked fine. My Toshiba and Dell laptop connected without a problem. My IBM Thinkpad connected, but the Internet connection would lock up after a few minutes of use. I noticed LAN errors increasing rapidly with this laptop connected and some increase in LAN errors with the other laptops connected. I called D-link and they confirmed not to use 1.7 with Xbox Live and my downgrading to 1.6 was recommended for Xbox Live. They also acknowledged that there is a problem with some computer connections with firmware 1.6. They suggested I try downgrading the router to 1.2 or 1.3 firmware and see if that will work. Since many fixes have come out since the 1.2 and 1.3 firmware, I decided to return this router to Amazon. I reconnected my DI-624 router and all laptops, desktop, and Xbox Live are working fine again. If you don't have wireless laptops, then go ahead and purchase this for Xbox Live, but if you do, I highly recommend you stay away from the D-link DGL series of routers until D-link gets this fixed. By the way, I searched the Internet and I am not the only one who had this problem. D-link did not have a fix for this.

Customer Buzz
Compre este Router para mi psp slim y puedo decirles que es 100% compatible y lo reconoce de inmediato. La seƱal es bastante buena y
el proceso de configuracion me parecio en lo particular, bastante sencillo. Lo recomiendo para PSP.

Customer Buzz
It drops packets on wired connections, it has worse range than my BELKIN, and encryption on this joke of a router slows traffic down to 4MBPS! Total ripoff, defective junk!

I have had enough of these wireless routers, every one of them is no good. From D-Link to Linksys up and on down the line, THEY ARE ALL CHEAP PIECES OF JUNK!!!

I thought I had it bad with this BELKIN, but at least it has solid wired connections!

EDIT: Maybe it was just a defective unit...?

Customer Buzz
I bought this as a replacement for my DI-624, another quality D-Link product that lasted me almost 6 years (I had it running/downloading 24/7 and the wireless chipset began to give out; usually routers only last 2-3 years with heavy use like that). This is one quality upgrade...

For starters, the DGL-4300 has a high-quality (not sure if it is high-gain or not) antenna out of the box which immediately gave me a better signal throughout my home. The Admin interface is easy to use and has many more features than its predecessors. Be warned though: this is a "gaming" router, and all of the Admin function revolve around this principle, with port profiles for many popular games.

It does not have to be used exclusively for gaming, so don't be turned off with all of the jargon! The GameFuel technology it boasts is simply a fancy way of saying "bandwidth prioritization," and can be used for *anything* including VoIP services (so your call quality can be clearer). However, I am a gamer and used it "as advertised" for my X-box Live connection and instantly began to see better performance through online play, even when my wife was downloading music on her PC!

Security is easy to setup, with the option of 128-bit WEP and WPA methods, as well as MAC filtering (in order for any device to access your signal, they would need to have its unique MAC address stored on the device). Bottom line: no one will be accessing your signal without your permission!

All-in-all, this is a great upgrade for anyone with an older wireless router, and probably the best starter router anyone could get without new 802.11n technology. I highly recommend it as well as any other D-Link product.
