It DOES work for the XBox 360.....when it feels like it. Buggy doesn't even begin to describe it! For some reason, this piece of garbage only fully connects at night...is it a vampire? I don't know.
Drops out of connections ALL THE TIME....and then takes fifteen minutes to reboot...just to DROP OUT AGAIN!!!!

It's great and far cheaper than the Xbox wireless version and without utilizing your USB port. It's a must have.
I'm somewhat technically savvy and I could not get this to work for my 360. I bought the newer (360) adapter and that worked without a problem.
I bought this item without reading the reviews. When the item got here I found out that it would only let me connect with a WEP connection. That is when I decided to come back and read the reviews. I was bummed at first because my network is WPA but then I read about a software upgrade that basically replaced the firmware and gave me the WPA functionality. Device runs great and I couldn't be happier!

easy setup - plug it in, connect ethernet cable, select your wireless network (WEP only i believe) enter your code (either 13 or 26 digit if using security) and play. do not use provided CD for install, or booklet - NO NEED. Plug and play.
I did not want to spend the $99 for the Xbox 360 wireless adapter so I ended up purchasing the Xbox MN740 Network adapter instead. Works great with my Buffalo Airstation router and was easy to hook up and was up and running in no time. I did not use the CD that came with it and followed the advice of temporarily connecting my router to adapter with an ethernet cable. After that I set up the wireless connection through prompts via the 360 to locate and identify my wireless connection. Everything works great including game play and netflix streaming video. It's also great not having an ethernet cable going through my living room anymore!
other than being a pain to set up, this works great and is cheaper than the newer version
Awesome product, a little expensive, but there's very little alternatives to this product. Works flawlessly, perfect if you have a modded xbox and want use it with Xbox Media Center to watch movies/tv but don't want to deal with the hassle of running wires, which come out to about the same cost. This is used on an xbox that is on the opposite end of the house where our wireless router is located at, a good 75 feet away on the first floor and it works flawlessly. Only complaint is that transferring big files takes some time but it would be the same across any wireless adapter, it's perfect for streaming stuff however.
This works 100% with Xbox 360 save your self 50[..] and get this old school marvel !!!
I connected this to my XBOX (not 360) and it installed with ease and has worked like a charm since installation.
